 The Argument Stated

This is the simplest and probably the least persuasive argument for the existance of God.Simply put, it states that for every cause there must be an appropriate effect. No matter what example w might take, this principle would hold true. The greater the effect is, the greater the cause would be

The Argument Applied

  Since we can observe the Universe, we must either assume that the Universe has been caused by Something or it has always existed. If we conclude the Unvierse was caused by Something, then what caused it? And, was the Cause of the Universe Eternal or caused by another Cause? We believe the Cause of the Universe is the Uncaused God. Who made God? No one! The Universe did not cause itself, but God caused it!

The Scriptures

EXO 3:13 ¶ Then Moses said to God, "Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I shall say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you.' Now they may say to me, 'What is His name?' What shall I say to them?"

PSA 102:24 I say, "O my God, do not take me away in the midst of my days, Thy years are throughout all generations.
PSA 102:25 "Of old Thou didst found the earth; And the heavens are the work of Thy hands.
PSA 102:26 "Even they will perish, but Thou dost endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing Thou wilt change them, and they will be changed.
PSA 102:27 "But Thou art the same, And Thy years will not come to an end.
