We are told by many that a Christian must forgive all no matter if someone repents or not. We are told that while Jesus was on the cross He forgave those who murdered Him. But, when we examine the Word of God, looking at three prayers by Jesus, Stepehen and paul, we see the Truth about how God forgives people and how He demands we should forgive them. God does not unconditionally forgive others and does not require us to unconditionally forgive others. Repentance is always a part of God’s terms of forgiving others as well as a Christian forgiving another.
