Description
Does the New Testament authorize a local church to plan and provide for social activities? This questions may sound strange to many because so many churches including many who claim to be churches of Christ, practice these things without regret. They see no problem in having kitchens, social meals and recreational facilities provided and funded by the local church. Yet, the quesiton of whether there is Bible authority for this is often ignored or lightly covered. This class is designed to compare these common popular practices to what we read in the New Testament with a view of encouraging us to follow what is authorized and reject what is not.
