David was intent on destroying the man who had wronged him and those who worked for him. But God used David’s enemy’s wife, Abigail, to restrain him from doing evil. David recognized it was God at work showing mercy to him that he would not do evil against Nabal. As Christians today, we should work in the lives of others to encourage good behavior and discourage sin. Let us be like Abigal, instruments God can use today to restrain others from sinning.
