We teach many lessons warning individuals and local churches not to engage in things that are not authorized by the apostles’ teaching. And, we should do this. But, we can become deceived into thinking as long as we refrain from evil, do not seal, murder, commit adultery and so on, this will make us acceptable before God. However, the Scriptures clearly teach that failing to do good is just as sinful as doing evil. Therefore we need to be busy doing good. This lesson reminds us of examples of those who were busy doing good and also Bible principles for why we should do good now.
