Jesus’ Parable of The Friend At Midnight
Preacher: Gary Hunt | Series: The Parables of Jesus
Sometimes Jesus would speak a parable to answer someone’s request posed by either a friend or an enemy. When a disiplce asked the Lord to teach them to pray, He gave an example of how and for what they should pray. Then, he told a parable about how we must be persistent in our praying to our loving, good heavenly Father. Are you disoucraged and give up praying for certain things? The parable of the friend at midnight will encourage you to not give up. Along with being persistent, we must also pray in fiath, according to God’s will and with unselfish motives. If we do this, He will answer our requests providing always what is best in His own time.
