Jesus’ Parable of The Ten Virgins
In Matthew 25:1-3, Jesus tells the parable of the ten virgins, five of them wise and five foolish. The wise are prepared with the burning lamps to meet the delayed bridegroom for the wedding feast while the foolish were unprepared and barred from entering the feast when they tried to prepare after he had already arrived and began the feast. What can we learn from this parable in relation to the attitudes we must have to e ready for Jesus’ second coming, the time of which we do not know? Will we have these attitudes or will be unprepared and suffer eternal consequences for our failure?
