Jesus’ Parable of The Two Debtors

Those who are more grateful for God’s mercy will be more loving toward God. Them see their sins for what they are, transgressions of God’s Law that will bring the wrath of God to those who do not repent of them. Turning to God by faith, they rejoice in His gracious forgiveness knowing the unbearable debt of sin has been forgiven. Then, they joyously express love to God through growing obedience to his Word. In contrast, those who see themselves as small debtors with not much to be forgiven show much less love to God. They trust in themselves they are righteous. Jesus parable of the two debtor in a few words teaches this valuable lesson. What type of debtor are you? How much do you show love for God?
