Jesus commanded his apostles to make disciples of all the nations. A disciple is one who learns about Jesus and His teaching to the point of following and imitating Him in character. But, how does one become His disciple? Many have been wrongly taught by misleading teachings such as he sinner’s prayer. Nowhere in the New Testament do we find anyone becoming a Christian, a disciple, being saved by the sinner’s prayer. And, how do we remain His disciples? Can we be lost after once being saved. Many wrongly say no without any Scriptural proof but the Scriptures teach otherwise by warning we must continue in Jesus’ word in order to continue as His loyal, loving obedient disciples. In this four part lesson, we will look at these two important questions.
