Furthermore, God is also the Divine moral authority that reveals how family members are to behave. Contrary to the foolishness of men that pervert marriage and family roles, God’s enduring Word clearly reveals how husband must behave in order to glorify Him. The husband is to be the head of His wife based on Divine authority,. He is responsible for leading his family. He is also to love his wife as Christ loved the church in an unselfish sacrificial manner putting them above himself. He is also to respectfully honor his wife and not mistreat her. He must provide for his wife and family those material things needed. And, he must love, teach and discipline his children. Let us briefly study these things together to know what God commands husbands to do in their families.
