The role of children revealed in the Word of God is simple but important. Children are to obey their parents so hopefully they can learn to obey God. They are also to honor their parents, respect them highly to the point of not only obeying them but also helping them financially and in any other way when they are in need. This obligation continues even for adult children as long as their parents are living. Some parents never teach their children these things. Other parents who try to follow God’s Word must fight against society including government, social media and education that seek to destroy the relationship of parents and children and children and God by their ungodly teaching.
