Redeeming The Time v3
How do we as Christians view and use our time? Do we look at time as something that belongs to us and can be used in any way we please? Or, do we view time as given to us by God who must be the One who determines how we use all the time He graciously provides to us? In Eph 5:15-17, Paul urges Christians to walk, live wisely, making the most of (redeeming) the time God has given to us that we may serve Him to His glory. In order to do this, we must recognize our purpose for being here is to serve God and we must put Him first above all. Let us be reminded of how we are to use our time, knowing that either death or sickness or Jesus’ coming or a hardened heart, can all prevent us from wisely redeeming the time He gives us.
