Many are desperately seeking for peace of mind in this life and few seldom find it. Instead, they, including some Christians, are beset with worry, fear, guilt and all types of mental distress. Jesus promised peace to His disciples that would provide tranquility even in the midst of trials in this life. In Jesus, we have peace with God. If we continue in sin, we will always be without true peace because we are in conflict with the God of peace. In Jesus, God provides peace through justifying us by faith in Jesus through whom He justly punishes sin and mercifully justifies (frees from guilt) sinners. But, how do we get into and remain in Christ to gain this priceless peace?
