Often, much is misunderstood about prayer when we believe that God is obligated to give us exactly what we ask if we believe in it hard enough. Then, when He does not answer as we asked, we become discouraged and often stop praying as we ought. God has the power to answer our prayers and desires we pray to Him giving thanks in all things. To pray in faith, we must not only believe God exists but also He is powerful enough to answer us, cares for us and will always do what is best at the right time, even changing His mind about what answer He will provide.
