In Mat 6:19-34, Jesus says we must lay up treasures in heaven not on earth. We must be single-minded about learning and plying the word of God. Seeking God’s kingdom (rule) and His righteousness must be our top priority in life. If we do this, God has promised He will provide us with the necessities of life each day. Therefore, if we serve Him first, we will be free of sinful, needless worry.
