True Friends and Enemies

True friends in this life are to be greatly valued. They help us bear the great burdens of life, work through and endure difficult trials and rejoice with us during times of joy. Ideally, for Christians, we should seek out friends who are Christians seeking to please God above all to be our closest friends. The Bible says much about the qualities of true friends. It also gives examples of friends who were really enemies and apparent enemies who were friends. We study this lesson to learn the difference between these and learn how to be a friend to others also.
