Two Overlooked Factors In Evangelism v2
We must seek to spread the gospel to the world making sure we speak only that which is revealed in the gospel so those who hear believe and obey may be saved. Those who believe in Jesus as the Son of God, repent of their sins, confess their faith in Jesus as the Son of God before men and are baptized (immersed in water) in the name of Jesus for forgiveness of sins will be saved, forgiven of their sins by a gracious and loving God. But, there are two overlooked factors in evangelism that if not emphasized can affect our ability to convert the lost to Christ. In John chapter 13 and 17, we read that we must love one another as Christ has loved us and be one (unified) with one another as Jesus is with His Father. Our love and unity will show people that we are Jesus’ disciples and that Jesus came forth from the Father.
