The Pope claims he is Christ’s representative on earth divinely appointed to rule of Jesus’ universal church. The Catholic church claims Peter was the first pope and had supremacy over the other apostles. Are these things true? Should we submit to someone called the Pope as the leader of the church?  We look in the New Testament for the answers that are clear for all to see and follow.
