Judging

April 19, 2009
Preacher: Gary Hunt Many including those who claim to be Christians tell us we should not judge others. Whatever someone does that is sinful, we are not to judge because we will be judged. Does the New Testament forbid Christians from judging others? Or, in some cases, does the Lord command us to judge others?
Preacher: Gary Hunt | Series: The Work of The Church What is the difference between Christ universal one church and a loical church? How do they differ in organization and work? Why are so many churches organized in ways not found in the New Testament? Why are so many churches involved in work we cannot read aobut in the New Testament? Is there a difference between the work of an individual christen and a local church? Let us learn and follow only the work of the church that the New Testament clearly authorizes.

Lead or Feed?

January 4, 2009
Preacher: Gary Hunt Do we desire to humbly obey the Lord or demand that He meet all our earthly desires? Do we want Jesus’ church to be the humble body of people that obey Him or a social entertainment club designed to fulfill our desires? In John 6, Jesus shows He was not willing to become the type of king the people wanted but demanded they must be fed by the words of life, the gospel.

God Causes The Growth

December 7, 2008
Preacher: Gary Hunt Both numerical and spiritual growth occur because of God’s Word not the wisdom and personality of men. Do we trust in our own wisdom and modifiying the gospel to increase numbers or do we trust in God and the power of His saving gospel?

Preacher: Gary Hunt Generally, there are two attitudes people have toward the bible. Some believe if the Bible does not prohibit something, we are free to do it. While others believe if the Bible does not authorize something, we must not do it. Which attidue does the Bible support? What are the applications of respecting the silences of Scriptures?
