How has God communicated His will to us so that we may understand it and obey it? Some say we cannot understand His will at all. Others say, we should just do as we believe He wants and as long as we are sincere, al is well. But, God has communicated in His Word, especially relating to us in the New Testament, in such a way that we can know and obey His will. He has communicated with us in the same way we communicate with one another, by commands and statements, examples and necessary conclusions. Let us examine these to be sure we are following only what He has authorized us to do rather than the traditions of men.
