John states that he wrote his account of the gospel to convince people to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He states that the few miracles he records are sufficient to bring someone to this belief. Why then did the majority of people not believe in Jesus? And, could these be the same reasons why many do not believe in Jesus today? Like some who chose to believe and obey Him, we too can choose to believe in Him enough to obey the gospel and be saved from our sins. Let us study these signs Jesus did and the reactions of those who did not believe. And, let us be encouraged to believe and obey the gospel now before it is too late. We are blessed today to have the complete evidence including Spirit guided gospel accounts of fulfilled prophecies, His miracles and eyewitness accounts of His death, burial and resurrection. And, we also have the complete record of what we must do to be saved.
