Philippians BC10 I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am 4
In Philippians 4:10-23, Paul writes closing his letter to the Philippian church. He first writes of learning how to be content in whatever circumstances he is in. This is something we must learn and practice to be faithful Christians. But, how can we do this? How did Paul do this? In the most difficult circumstances, how can we be content? And, in prosperous circumstances how can we be content without being deceived by tying contentment to our circumstances? Finally he write sending greetings from the saints in Caesar’s household indicating that some at the highest social level of Rome had become Christians. In spite of what we face, we must continue to preach the gospel that souls may be saved.
