In Gal 6:1-5, we read how we are to behave when we seek to restore a brother or sister in Christ who has fallen into sin that becomes known to others. More is said about the one who should restore rather than the one being restored. If we are going to please God, we must restore others in a spirit of gentleness looking to ourselves so we too may not fall to temptation. We must also be willing to help the one restored with their burden so they may fight against sin and become stronger in the faith. Whether we are the restorer or the restored, all depend on the grace and mercy of God through Jesus’ blood to be saved. Let us look at what God commands so we may help restore those who need to be brought back to the lord.
