Romans BC10T Both Jews And Gentiles Can Be Saved By Faith In Jesus 3
In Romans 11, Paul continues to write of God’s faith plan to save both Jews and Gentiles by grace through faith in Jesus. God did not reject the Jewish nation completely but is saving those, that remnant, who would turn to Jesus. Since most Jews rejected Christ, God turned to the Gentiles who, relative to the Jews, widely accepting Jesus. But, they must be careful, lest because of their pride, they can fall away from Christ. Also, the Jews who had reelected Jesus, if they humble themselves and obey the gospel by faith, can be saved. Nowhere does God teach that He will save the Jews because they are Jews or that He will save the whole Jewish nation in spite of their unwillingness to be saved. God’s judgments show His superior wisdom to all.
