Romans BC7T Freed From Suffering And Death 1
Although we have been freed from the law of sin and of death by forgiveness of our sins at baptism (immersion in water in the name of Jesus), we still must endure suffering in this life ultimately ending in our physical death. Day by day, we seek to grow in grace and knowledge through repentance, confession of sins and prayer and having our mind renewed by the gospel to live for Christ. But, our physical bodies continue to decay day by day. How can we overcome all physical suffering including death so one day we may be with God for eternity? This is what Paul addresses in Romans 8:18-39. Let us study so we may endure and continue in hope in spite of all trials that may come our way in this life.
