Jesus, after casting out a demon from a blind and mute man, was praised by the crowd but falsely and harshly accused by the Scribes and Pharisees of casting out demons by the power of Satan. Jesus gives several arguments why this could not be true and then gives a stern warning to them that all sins and blasphemies God will forgive. But, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, God will not forgive. What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? Why Will God not forgive it? Is it truly the unpardonable sin? Also, can we go too far into sin, any sin, so that we become unwilling to repent and turn to God under any circumstance?
