Some wrongly believe and teach that temptation does not occur unless and until we desire the thing by which we are tempted. If we do not desire it, there is no temptation. Temptations are presented by the Devil from without and our responses to them come from within, either resisting or yielding to temptations.

Do we inherit Adam’s sin? Are we born in sin? Do children inherit the sins of their parents? Is guilt for sin transferred from one generation to the next? I srighteousness transferred from one generation to the next? Long ago, the prophet Ezekiel answered these questions concluding that each person will bear their own sins.
