Two Overlooked Factors In Evangelism v3
To reach the lost, we must stay true to the gospel, not adding or taking away anything from the saving message found in the New Testament, the only power God has given to save us. But, there are two overlooked factors in evangelizing the lost that will affect how successful we are in reaching them with the gospel. First, we must love one another as Jesus has loved us. This love is unselfish, sacrificial and observable. Second, we must be unified as one as Jesus and the Father are unified as One. We must seek to understand, believe and practice the apostles’ teaching in the same way. Lack of love for one another and divisions with one another will diminish our effectiveness in reaching the lost.
