Unlike our society that embraces and promotes immorality or fornication as being natural and normal, not to be restrained, Christians are to flee fornication which God declares sinful and seek to glorify God by engaging in sexual relations only in scriptural marriage, those marriages that God authorizes. Fornication is any sexual relation outside of Scriptural marriage. Therefore homosexuality, incest, adultery and many other sexual sins are different types of fornication. In these three lessons, we will define fornication, point out some of the terrible consequences of fornication and list some ways we are to help each other flee fornication and glorify God. Only with God’s help, can we flee fornication and live a holy life seeking sexual purity honoring scriptural marriage.
