The Blindness Necessary To See The Truth v2
In John 9, Jesus heals a man born blind on a Sabbath day in Jerusalem. The formerly blind man continues to repeat the same simple incontrovertible facts about his healing to various groups, his neighbors, his parents and the Pharisees. Yet, they are hesitant to believe his testimony about Jesus or openly reject the evidence of his healing. Jesus says if they were blind, they would have no sin but since they say they see their sin remains. How must we be blind in order to see the truth about Jesus the Light of the world? Let us examine this chapter to see how being blind can be a positive spiritual attribute.
