Marriage and Family 2 God Created Designed and Governs Marriage
Preacher: Gary Hunt | Series: Marriage and Family | God has created all including humanity. He has also created marriage and family. It is He who has absolute authority over man, marriage and family. Despite this, Man insists on his own way, redefining marriage and the family unit according to worldly wisdom which many claim is superior To God’s Word. God created marriage and intends for all lawful (in His sight) marriages to last for life, until at least one mate dies. Marriage was made by God for one man and one woman for life. God created marriage for man and woman to love and be loved, for the only suitable companionship for man, woman, for satisfaction of sexual desires in the one flesh relationship of marriage and so the human race might be perpetuated. All sexual relationships outside of Scriptural marriage are sin. Let us willingly submit ourselves to God, the Creator’s will in marriage according to His Word and the purposes for which it has been given to us by Him for our good and His glory.
