What Is A Living Faith?
In Mark 9:14-29, Jesus 9 apostles fail to cast a demon from a tormented boy. His father appeals to Jesus to cast out the demon and Jesus does so. Why did His disciples fail to do what He gave them authority to do? Why does our faith often fail to do what the Lord has commanded us to do/ Jesus gives the answer stating that His disciples had failed to believe in the power of God to the point of praying, acknowledging their dependence on God to work in them. This is often our problem as well. Let us study to be encouraged to believe and obey God’s powerful word working in us always praying that He may be glorified.
