Zeal Firepower of The Church v2
In order to serve God in a pleasing way, we must not only have strong obedient faith produced by knowledge of the Word of God but we must also have a burning zeal that propels us to vigorously and eagerly do His will each day including spreading the gospel to the lost. The first century Christians were eager to serve and evangelize even to the point of being killed. Why? Where did this zeal come from? It came from the realization that Jesus had died for their sins, was raised from the dead on the third day and ascended to God’s right hand where he is now reigning over all. Let us be encouraged to have this type of zeal to spread the gospel and live the Christian life in spite of all obstacles.
