Preacher: Gary Hunt | Series: Was Peter The First Pope? The Pope claims he is Christ’s representative on earth divinely appointed to rule of Jesus’ universal church. The Catholic church claims Peter was the first pope and had supremacy over the other apostles. Are these things true? Judging

April 19, 2009
Preacher: Gary Hunt Many including those who claim to be Christians tell us we should not judge others. Whatever someone does that is sinful, we are not to judge because we will be judged. Does the New Testament forbid Christians from judging others? Or, in some cases, does the Lord command us to judge others?
Preacher: Gary Hunt Generally, there are two attitudes people have toward the bible. Some believe if the Bible does not prohibit something, we are free to do it. While others believe if the Bible does not authorize something, we must not do it. Which attidue does the Bible support? What are the applications of respecting the silences of Scriptures?
Preacher: Gary Hunt Is once saved always saved true? We hear this so often in various churches but do the Scriptures confirm this? Peter is a good study that shows us the truth and warns us that we can fall away from the Lord if we choose to do so.

Who Will Bear Our Sins?

June 22, 2008
Preacher: Gary Hunt Do we inherit Adam’s sin? Are we born in sin? Do children inherit the sins of their parents? Is guilt for sin transferred from one generation to the next? I srighteousness transferred from one generation to the next? Long ago, the prophet Ezekiel answered these questions concluding that each person will bear their own sins.
