Are we born in sin? Is there anything we can do to be saved? Once we are saved, can we ever do anything to be lost again? If we can be lost again after being saved, is there anything we can do to trun back to the Lord? How we answer these key questions will be determined by what we believe the Bible teaches about man’s free choice to do either right or wrong in the spiritual realm.

Through Jesus’ death, God brough Jews and Gentiles together saving them into one body, His church, by the same gospel. Both Jews and Gentiles would be unified together under the New covenant brought forth by jesus’ blood to save all.

Paul says we are saved by grace through faith and not of our own works. How do grace, faith and works relate to one another? If we believe we must do something to be saved, are we contradicting faith and trying to be saved by our own works? Does faith contradict grace? Must faith work to be a saving faith? Is baptism a work of faith or a work of human merit? Confusion on these things has caused much error to be taught and followed about salvation.
